Terms of service

These terms govern access to StocksControl, including accounts, recurring subscriptions, research tools and user-published content.

1. Provider and contact

StocksControl is operated by Carlos Perea, Hills 7, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Las Palmas, Spain. Tax identification number pending confirmation. Contact email: [email protected].

These terms are available in Spanish and English. Users can save or print them from their browser.

2. Acceptance, age and account

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using StocksControl, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. An account is personal and may not be transferred or shared in a way that circumvents plan limits.

3. Service and plans

StocksControl provides financial information, analysis and research tools, portfolios, lists, alerts and community features. The features and limits of each plan are shown on the plans page and during checkout.

We may correct, update, remove or add features to improve the service’s accuracy, security or sustainability. If a material change disadvantages an active subscription, we will seek to give reasonable advance notice and provide any options required by applicable law.

4. Prices, payments and automatic renewal

Prices, applicable taxes, currency and billing period are displayed before payment is confirmed. Stripe processes payments and stores complete payment-method details; StocksControl receives the identifiers and status needed to manage access.

Paid subscriptions automatically renew for the same billing period until cancelled. Cancellation prevents future renewals and, unless otherwise stated or required by law, access continues through the end of the period already paid.

To cancel or resolve a billing issue, email [email protected] from the address associated with the account. The availability of Stripe tools does not limit this channel.

5. Refunds and withdrawal

We provide a commercial full-refund guarantee for the first 7 calendar days of an initial paid subscription. Send the request to [email protected] and identify the account. This guarantee is additional to, and never reduces, mandatory consumer rights.

Consumers in the European Economic Area generally have 14 calendar days from entering into a distance contract to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, subject to the exceptions and rules for services that have started or been fully performed. If a user asks for immediate access during that period, the consequences provided by law may apply without prejudice to the commercial guarantee above.

Outside these cases, refund requests will be considered flexibly in light of billing errors, material unavailability, use of the service and the circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory guarantees.

6. Financial information: not advice

StocksControl provides general information, models, analyses and educational material. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice; it makes no personalized recommendations; and nothing in the service is an offer, solicitation or instruction to buy, sell or hold a security.

Markets involve risk of loss. Data may be delayed or incorrect and models depend on assumptions. You alone are responsible for verifying information, judging whether a decision is suitable and consulting appropriately authorized professionals when needed. Past performance and estimated scenarios do not guarantee future results.

7. User content and licence

You retain ownership of your original notes, analyses, resources and other content. When you mark content as community or public, or create a share link, you grant StocksControl a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, sublicensable only to technical service providers, limited to hosting, reproducing, technically adapting, displaying, moderating and distributing that content according to your selected visibility and to operating or promoting that publication within the service.

The licence lasts while the content remains published or shared. After withdrawal, it ends for future use within a reasonable period, except for temporary technical copies, legal duties, the defence of claims and copies lawfully made by others. StocksControl will not sell user content as a standalone work without additional permission.

You warrant that you have the necessary rights, identify sources appropriately and will not submit content that infringes the law or third-party rights. Do not publish another person’s personal data without a lawful basis.

8. Acceptable use

  • Do not access another person’s account or data or bypass quotas, access controls or security measures.
  • Do not introduce malware, overload the service, conduct unauthorized scraping or automate access outside documented APIs and credentials.
  • Do not publish unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, deceptive, privacy-invasive or intellectual-property-infringing material.
  • Do not impersonate others, manipulate markets, coordinate abuse, send spam or use the service to promote unlawful transactions.
  • Do not present platform data, AI analysis or community content as a professional recommendation by StocksControl.

9. Moderation, suspension and termination

We may reduce visibility or remove content, revoke links or credentials, restrict features, suspend or close accounts when reasonably necessary because of breach, non-payment, fraud, abuse, technical or security risk, infringement of rights, legal process or protection of other users.

We will use a proportionate measure. Where lawful and safe, we will explain the decision and reasons and allow a review request. We may act without advance notice in response to urgent risk, unlawful conduct, attack, fraud or the need to preserve evidence. You may stop using the service and request account closure by email.

10. Intellectual property and third-party data

StocksControl’s software, design, branding, documentation and proprietary methods are protected by applicable law. These terms provide a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer intellectual property.

Third-party data and materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms. Users may not redistribute them at scale, create a substitute database or remove attribution and notices.

11. Availability and liability

We work to provide a secure and reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, coverage of every instrument or period, complete freedom from errors or any financial result. Maintenance, third-party failures, data revisions and events outside our control may occur.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StocksControl is liable only for reasonably foreseeable direct loss caused by an attributable breach. Liability is not excluded or limited where the law prohibits it, including mandatory consumer rights.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Consumers retain every mandatory protection available in their country of residence and may bring proceedings in any court available to them by law. In business-to-business relationships, where legally permitted, the courts of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria have jurisdiction.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact [email protected] so that we can try to resolve the matter promptly and in good faith.

13. Changes and language precedence

We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical or service changes. The update date will appear on this page and material changes will be communicated reasonably in advance where appropriate.

The Spanish and English versions are intended to have the same meaning. If they conflict, the Spanish version prevails, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
